Practice line 01

Deal making

Transactions are milestones in a longer story. Whether the deal is an acquisition, a merger, a fundraising round, a joint venture or a restructuring, the role of counsel is not simply to close. It is to help the client understand what they are getting into, and to put in place terms that actually serve them. We work on deals of all sizes, with the same level of care and partner involvement regardless of ticket size.

Practice line 02

Business support

Every business, whatever its size or sector, is ultimately run by people. That is where most of the complexity arises — and where the right legal partner makes the greatest difference. We work alongside companies at every stage, from early-stage ventures to established groups and international brands, acting as a trusted counsel who knows the business, anticipates issues before they surface, and gives clear, practical advice when they do. Because people sit at the heart of every organisation, our employment and HR practice is core to what we do: advising on individual and collective matters, designing employment frameworks that work in practice, handling sensitive workplace situations with discretion, and supporting management through restructuring, change, and growth.

Practice line 03

Dispute resolution

When a dispute arises, clients need someone who understands both what is at stake and what winning actually means, and whether there is a better way to get there. We approach dispute resolution with a preference for dialogue and resolution, not confrontation. Mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution are not fallbacks; they are often the right first move — faster, less costly, and more likely to preserve relationships that matter. Where litigation or arbitration is necessary, we are direct, well-prepared, and focused on outcomes that make sense for the client. HR investigations occupy a distinct place in this practice: sensitive, time-critical, and requiring both legal rigour and sound judgement about people and organisations.

Sectors

Six sectors

We advise clients primarily across sectors where law and innovation most acutely intersect.

  • 01

    Computing, Data & AI

We have advised technology companies since our founding. We understand how software is built, how data flows, and what changes when AI enters the picture, because we have been working at that intersection consistently, and from the beginning, not as a recent addition to our practice.

  • 02

    Healthcare, Life Sciences & Biotech

Regulated industries where the margin for error is narrow and the stakes are human. We advise companies navigating the space between innovation and compliance, from early-stage biotech to established healthcare groups.

  • 03

    Energy, Infrastructure & Renewables

The transition is underway and the legal questions it raises are real. We work with companies building, financing and operating energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on renewables and climate tech and commercial frameworks that support them.

  • 04

    Media, Platforms & Entertainment

Content, distribution and the platforms that sit between them. We advise clients across media and entertainment on the commercial, intellectual property and regulatory issues that define how creative industries operate today.

  • 05

    Non-Profits, NGOs & Purpose Economy

Organisations driven by mission need legal advice that is sharp and practical. We work with foundations, NGOs and purpose-driven businesses, not as a pro bono sideline, but as a core part of our practice. This extends to public institutions where the intersection of law, policy and public interest is most directly felt, such as healthcare and innovation, and where we have built longstanding relationships over the years.

  • 06

Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions & Private Equity

We advise funds, founders, financial sponsors, buyers and sellers across the full lifecycle — from formation and fundraising to deployment, growth, M&A and exit. The focus is on getting the structure right, the terms fair, and the complexity out of the way.
