Before joining id est avocats in January 2025 as a junior associate, Maxime Jondeau obtained a Bachelor of Law magna cum laude from the University of Lausanne. He then completed a Master’s degree in Law, Crime and Information Technology Security at the University of Lausanne. His interest in new technologies led him to write a Master’s thesis on the application of competition law to price-fixing algorithms, published on the University’s website.
During his studies, he completed an internship at the Vaud Data Protection and Information Rights Authority. Once he obtained his Master’s degree, he completed his training at the WIPO-University of Geneva Summer School in Intellectual Property (2023). He then interned at a Vaud police force for several months, before becoming head of the commercial police.
He practises in French and English and is fluent in Italian.
